Accessibility
Statement.
Effective Date: April 16, 2026
Our Commitment
Elite Baseball Academy, LLC ("Elite Diamond Dawgs") is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to browse our programs, learn about our teams, and contact our staff — regardless of ability or assistive technology.
Conformance Target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
How We Build for Accessibility
Our approach to accessibility is built into the development process, not bolted on after the fact. Specific measures include:
- Semantic HTML — We use proper heading structure, landmarks, lists, and form labels so assistive technologies can interpret every page correctly.
- Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, menus) are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Focus indicators — Visible focus states are provided on all interactive elements so keyboard users always know where they are on the page.
- Color contrast — Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Responsive design — The site is usable at any zoom level up to 200% and adapts to all screen sizes without loss of content or functionality.
- Alternative text — Meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
- Minimal motion — We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionoperating system setting and disable animations when requested.
No Overlay Tools
We do not use third-party accessibility overlay widgets (such as accessiBe, UserWay, AudioEye, or similar products). Research and the disability community have consistently shown that these tools do not deliver meaningful accessibility improvements and can interfere with the assistive technologies that users already rely on. Instead, we address accessibility at the code level.
Third-Party Content
Our website may link to or embed content from third-party services, including Google Forms for program registration. While we choose vendors with accessibility in mind, we cannot guarantee that all third-party content meets WCAG 2.2 AA standards. If you encounter difficulty using any linked or embedded feature, please contact us directly and we will assist you.
